Laugh It Up Fuzzballs (Ep. 139) - CBM Defenders... a Double Feature of Punishment

The continuing misadventures of Wookiee balancing grad school and a free podcast continue but don’t lose faith dear listeners. Another week and we prevail. Despite the constraint of the time space continuum, I am lucky to have pals to save my bacon and provide content for the busy weeks. This time, Danny came through and the result is his introduction to the CBM Defenders. Welcome to another edition of the Fuzzballs defending “bad” comic book movies. This time we tackled movies that Danny called dibs on. Also as a bonus, we actually had recently watched one. Danny and I attempt to defend the Dolph Lundgren and Thomas Jane versions of an iconic antihero. That’s right… two movies about The Punisher. Fair warning… we spoil the heck out of these flicks that are often discussed as some of the worst comic book movies EVER.. You may find these films to be less than good but we’re always prepared to shine our bright lanterny light all over them while talking the good, the bad, and the ugly. Here’s the two films we defend:

The Punisher (1989)
The Punisher (2004)

Congrats on completing Level 139 of the podcast and a big thanks to Danny the Deuce for yet another fun episode.
